Inspired by R.L Stein’s monsters, they have chosen some fantastic tattoos.
A total of 235 books have been published as part of the Goosebumps series. They are filled with tales of all kinds of monsters. As a child, we would often sit with a Goosebumps book at night and my mind would start turning the black and white writing into the most horrifying monsters ever, probably scarier than the images on the covers. Welcome To HorrorLand
Remember what we said about forming a mental image of the monsters as a kid? Well, this tattoo will surely make you rethink that. With the colours so vivid, it’s almost as if you’re standing in front of HorrorLand. Not only does the runny red writing on the entry board have a bloody feel to it, but the oozing green monster is also terrifying and the tree and crows in the background add an ominous tone. Rest assured if you’re planning on getting this to scare your friends, we would say mission successful.
Black And White Haunted Mask
One of the most terrifying characters in probably the haunted mask.
This depiction of Carly Beth putting on the mask while drooling brings out the blood-thirsty nature of the character. Even though the tattoo is done in black and white, it is nothing short of terrifying with those sharp fangs for teeth and glaring eyes.

In this one, the green ink used by the artist has impeccably been put into the depiction of the already terrifying haunted mask to make its image even more terrifying. Now, anyone who’s read the haunted mask story knows how it goes. No spoilers here though. This tattoo is a perfect combination of horror and cuteness. While the bloody knife, green haunted skin of the mask, and the fangs yell out murder and monster, you can’t deny that Carly looks super cute in those pigtails and those black anime eyes.

A much-awaited cross-over. A terrifying monster at an even more terrifying place, this tattoo depicts Monster Mask Carly and the entry to HorrorLand. The artist has used different colours to ink this tattoo which leaves only the part of being scared to our imagination.
Slappy Tattoo With His Icy Stare
Probably the most terrifying character in the goosebumps universe is Slappy the living dummy. This will probably spook even most grownups.
This beautifully drawn tattoo really brings out the devil in Slappy, with a green light casting a foreboding shadow on his face. The best part of the tattoo is how the artist has been able to portray Slappy’s icy evil stare, which paired with the smile and the glowing goosebumps writing makes it a sight to behold.

This tattoo is devoid of the demonic glow, but it still looks pretty terrifying. The artist has managed to perfectly capture Slappy’s iconic grin. It’s almost as if anyone who looks at this will get possessed in real life. Even the slightly dull colouration of the tattoo goes perfectly with the theme.

The mixture of colours used by the artist brings out their pain, noticeable by the detailing of the eyes. The Venus Fly Trap Monster From Stay Out Of The Basement
An underrated character, the venus flytrap monster has been mentioned in a few books, making its debut in the book titled “Stay out of the basement”.
This tattoo has been painted with different shaded of green, with a patch of skin in the middle for the hand. This is commendable for the level of detailing alone: the monster hand and the venus flytrap heads. The artist hasn’t even left out the vines of the monster plant, coiled around the wrist of the hand.
Goosebumps, ft. Slappy The Dummy
Aah! The OG. This is probably the most universal tattoo for a fan who doesn’t like to play favourites. The green oozing letters bring this tattoo to life, with an apt resemblance to every goosebumps book cover ever. Also, besides the main tattoo, we have fan-favourite Slappy. Although not as well-drawn as other tattoos focused solely on Slappy, it does not draw away any attention from the main attraction.
